Grace and peace to you all. I’m excited to announce that we are getting ready for our Easter celebration March 31st after service.  A flyer will be coming out very soon with details of the event. There is going to be lots of fun and games, prizes and the $50 Golden Egg raffle. Please come out and join in our celebration  of Jesus’s Resurrection.

We are accepting wrapped candy donations. No nuts or peanut butter candy please, some children have food allergies. For questions or concerns please feel free to contact me via email at sparquet@gethsemaneumc.org or phone (301) 412-7162 . You can also contact Sister Rosa White our church administrator by calling the church office. You can bring candy donations on this Sunday or Saturday  March 30th between 11am and 12noon.

Youth Prayer Challenge

For the 2024 Lenten Season, the youth of the Lower Prince George’s County Cluster are being stretched to grow in faith, through prayer.  Here’s how: every young person between the ages of 12-18 will keep a prayer journal. For 46 days, our youth, along with Pastor Nia and all youth advisors, will write the date at the top of the page then write a prayer.

For the remainder of February ONLY (until February 29th), in addition to the prayer, we are also being challenged to compose a love letter to God.
