Women’s Day

The United Women in Faith cordially invite you to celebrate Women’s Day 2024 on March 17th at 10am, themed “Seeds of Faith, Blossoms of Miracles.  Our guest speaker will be The Reverend Dr. Michelle Holmes Chaney.

Attention lovely ladies of Gethsemane, the United Women of Faith are thrilled to extend a heartfelt invitation to you for our upcoming Women’s Day event with the inspiring theme: “Seeds of Faith, Blossoms of Miracles.” Join us on March 17th as we plant ourselves in fertile soul, and demonstrate how our faith has the power to flourish as we cultivate a deeper relationship with our Savior.

This year we have a special challenge for every woman of Gethsemane to bring two women with them for a powerful Women’s Day Event! We want a woman sitting on your right and left! As our guest speaker, Reverend Dr. Michelle Holmes Chaney delivers a divine word.

A $60 minimum donation is requested from all women of Gethsemane to help fund our programs and missions for 2024. Please wear Red & White, and grab postcards in the Narthex so that you can personally invite others to join us in celebration.

Volunteers for Women’s Day are still needed. We need greeters, a set-up team to decorate the fellowship hall, ladies to manage the kitchen, as well as a team to help break down and clean up. Click here to sign up for a slot. Let me know if you have any questions.

For 46 days, our youth, along with Pastor Nia and all youth advisors, will write the date at the top of the page then write a prayer.

For the remainder of February ONLY (until February 29th), in addition to the prayer, we are also being challenged to compose a love letter to God.
