Most Holy One,
Thank you for calming the waters and bringing peace in the midst of this storm. Your word declares in Isaiah 43:2 that “when we pass through the waters, you will be with us.” We’re asking that you be with the people of Texas as they try to recover from hurricane Harvey. Please restore that which has been destroyed.
Jehovah Jireh, we’re asking that you provide them with all of the resources that they need and provide shelter.
You are Jehovah Rapha, the God that heals. Please send your healing power to the people of Texas. Whether they need healing in their bodies from the diseases that can result from flood waters, healing in their spirits, or healing in their minds from devastation, we’re calling on you to show us your healing power!
Please continue to provide peace where there is confusion, oh God. There are people that don’t know what’s to come because they’ve lost everything. Reassure them that you still hold the power!
We still believe that the earth is still yours and the fullness thereof; the earth, and they that dwell therein. For you have founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the waters so Lord we trust you.
Oh God, thank you for the overwhelming response from the people across the nation that are lending helping hands. Encourage your people to give from their hearts and be a blessing to the people of Texas that need our help. May they rest assure that their seeds will be planted in good soil. It’s in the name of your son Jesus that we pray.
